Putin says events in Syria have forced him to speak directly to the US – here is his opinion piece in full for the New York Times.

(It’s interesting how entire countries are arming themselves with bombs to guard against international lawlessness…the same way Americans are wanting to maintain their 2nd amendment rights  to guard against tyranny.)
